hi guys id love to get to the sr rally..it will depend on work tho...and yes its a big tank..lol.i took rough dimensions from a pic of a manx style tank on a norton wideline frame..i hardened up the lines a bit to make it look more 70s ....it holds about 17 lt..as aposed to the norton wich held, (acording to the magazine) 25lt.....i have plans on choping th standard tank but not sure i want to destroy it....and fenz...lol

That Tank has come up brilliantly mate! Careful braking late though, looks like a bit of a nut-cracker

Yay good work , & your right on about never finishing ! I'm down to 2 bikes working out of 6 as I took my Laverda out to get painted & it got bigger than Ben Hurr . I'm hoping to get a few finished off before Christmas! Love that tank(you should be able to get 400ks + out of that baby)You'll probably be able to notice the difference in performance between full & empty(15kgs at least) There is always a sacrifice ! Cheers Dave. PS how many Coronas went into it?

How do all the dirt boys get away with running foam filters?
Almost everyone I've spoken too who has run a foam filter has a "flaming backfire" story, yet all the offroaders still seem to swear by them because they filter finer particles???

Can't recall what mine are...they're a K&N with an angled outlet to clear the frame tubes. Might have a look to see if there's any identifier on them. SR
