Nice work! You'll have to change the name now and rusty 78 prject doesn't suit anymore.

Looking great!
I can imagine your rego being that much. My SR400 CTP was over $700.

Jeeez!! Move to South Oz boys. I reckon when I registered the SR it was $278 for Rego and CTP. No compulsory vehicle inspection at rego either. On top of that I have third party property damage just in case its my fault when I take out a Mercedes and live to tell the tale. That costs about $80 with SGIC. Mick

Mate I thought that was a reflection of a poodles head & on my screen the tank looks like its chromed it that shiny ! Its looking great , nice work! Just 1 question , did your engine come like that black head, barrel&gearbox with the 2 outside covers alloy? Just I'm doing up an engine like it & it looks OK on your bike . I'm sure its going to be easier than trying to strip & polish the whole thing! I've actually scored a rusty 78 myself today , I haven't seen it but my brother has it up in Perth & he said tweek $700 dollars into my account & I'll leave it at the olds for you . So I thought just parts alone it'll be a goldmine! He says it goes too so now I have 5(sheez I must be going for a record) cheers Dave.

Mate don't worry we're all interested in your project ! It is an art what we do . Just think the SRs been around for 30 years lets try to get another 30 now that would be a good effort & something to be part of .The funny thing is this time last year I only had 1 & I only bought 1 through the paper the rest were friends of friends etc . They all have a much better loving home now. Cheers Dave.
