Thanks Stew. Yep, took 'er for a little rip, then realized I should ask about break-in. Raining here tonight and tomorrow now... That's some great stuff there Willie... nice photos. Yeah, I have to admit, if I left the bike grimy, I just wouldn't be happy. The restoration part is pretty satisfying. But, doing engine work for the first time, pretty awesome too. On to the next project...

Fingers crossed on the fire front Stew.
I was down with our RFS unit in the Canberra ones last time. Was down in Vic last week with my housemate whose parents place is near the action, just clearing his farm etc.
Good excuse for everyone to install those high pipes they've been thinking of......

Hi, Yes, smoke here everywhere and over the last few days as well...especially bad today. Made my eyes sting as it came through the airconditioning in our office. Really hot and windy outside now as well. You can smell it like it's just nearby, probably coming up from Victoria on the wind. We don't need that again. SR

Hope you guys, your family and friends all stay safe from the fire(s). About a month after I moved to this house 5 years go, there was a devastating wildfire in the canyons nearby. I had to pack up the family and watch with binoculars as it came through canyon after canyon toward my house, and wait for word to go (or just decide and go myself). Thankfully, the prevailing winds shifted and took the fire elsewhere. Only got about a half mile to a mile away, but scared the hell out of me. I feel for 'ya.
