Just curious to find out the average height of my fellow sr500 forum posters.
The only reason I ask - I am not sure if I should put clip ons on my bike or a straight bar. I am 6ft two and may look and feel rediculous with clipons?

I'm 5'10" and use clip-ons or clubman bars. I've tried superbike bars and they just feel bad.

I am a bit on the large side for my cafe racer, being 193cm (6'4") tall and weighing in at 120kg (264lb) in leathers ready too ride. Plus age and too many broken legs means I can ride it for about 1/2 hour before the mild pain of the racers crouch becomes agony.
On my stock(ish) SR I have 2" rise touring bars and std footpegs and have no problems.
If you want ridiculous, you should see me when I ride my S90 Honda. It's so tiny that it feels like I am just floating down the road, as I can't see anything of the bike apart from the mirrors, when I ride it!
I also have a QA50 Honda that I basically can no longer ride because my knackered knees won't bend far enough for me to get my feet up on the pegs.

I'm about 5'6" and thought my SR with clip ons was well comfy after the R1. . . Now I've got the XJR I can't believe I've ridden the SR to Victoria and back on more than one occasion.

I'm 5'3" and 63kg I have re-engineered my footrests 15mm higher and 20mm back. My 81 SR feels perfect for me with 2" rise tour bars much more comfy than my MZ Skorpion sport and my 6'7" 125kg mate on his Norton commando can't keep up on the bendy roads

5'9" with WM rearsets and clipons mounted directly below the top triple clamp. Ergo's are spot on.

I'm 5'11" around 160lbs. front end lowered around 2", so clipon goes ABOVE the top triple clamp. Stock Rear Set. feels fine. except after when i eat a lot..getting into "position" becomes hard on the stomach.

I'm about a half inch over 6 feet. 184cm in metric system. I weigh 220lbs/100kg. I don't know what you call my bars, but they rise about 2" above the clamps. Touring bars maybe. I reckon its definitely a one person bike especially when that one person is a big fat sucker like me. You skinny light guys must be able to get another 10miles an hour more than me. Mick

Im 172cm, no idea on the feet-system thingy. I weigh in a heavy 100kg to so im a pretty compact dude(fat could also be used). I feel pretty good riding with laverda-bars on my SR500. But when i stand next to it or sit on it i feel i look like a Gorilla next to a kids bicycle My TRX850 feels very big to ride, but in pictures we are back to the Gorilla image. I could never use clip-ons on my SR500. Im to heavy and would loose the feeling in my hands after like 2 miles.

I'm 5'11" and 85kgs...clip-ons and rearsets on just about everything...is there any other sort of bars???...well, 'cept on the RM... ;D Like Col I also ride S90s...so the SR looks big compared to that... Here's a nice pic of an SR at Orange Boulevarde in Japan with the aforementioned setup...very nice machine...lots of nice SRs to look at there! SR
