YEAAAA. Pics are worth a thousand words. Seems like I heard that somewhere before. Did you have to redo them ALL yourself or did Imageshack self correct?

The Tempter is a great machine !(first time I've even seen a pic of one) I like the way the header pipe hugs the engine shape & then the muffler kicks up perfectly at the back.I'm trying to get that look on a SR . I got my wire wheels today , the same as the red SR in the pic .Now my only problem is which bike to put them on hmmm cheers Dave.

Quite good Stew ! Just need a polish & a set of tyres. As I said they were quite expensive ,but I got sick of searching & I'd spied them in a bike mag at work & when I made contact with them(Vic m/cycle wreck)they were very helpful & they supplied me with the full kit. Cables, levers etc & I received them in a couple of days. As I'm polishing & saving for tyres I've just got to work out which SR will they look better on (at the moment I'm favouring my 82 as it is black/chrome & its rims are daggy anyway & its also in need of new tyres)I was actually contemplating flogging that 1 but I'm finding it harder to part with any of them (you know what I mean) Cheers Dave.PS was that Tempter an actual brand/type or a model of what?

Excellent, so long as you are happy with what you have all is OK...you'll have to post some pics when you feel ready. The Tempter is a Suzuki...400cc version, engine wise, of the Savage single...different style of bike of course. They were not bought to Aus or to the US as I understand...in the US a Tempter was the 650 twin...GR650 engine. Sell a bike...not quite sure what you mean by that???....heh, heh... SR

Hey Stew. Sorry to butt in and change the topic, but what's the front fender on the DCM from? It looks good and would be practical as well. I do like those teeny tiny front fenders but not the idea of wearing every puddle in Sydney!

Chase, if it makes you feel any better I had a stubby little exhaust on mine a while ago and never had any problems with it!
However, no front fender does yield some interesting results.

I thought that would be your reaction to the selling issue Stew! I did sell a SR once & I always regreted doing it(I blamed my mother as she had a problem with too many motorbikes in the old boy's shed)So I don't think its going to happen. It's not that easy to sell from here anyway & I don't think there is a huge following in the wild west so I shall toil & play by myself.(If anybody ever visits I'll be able to supply a bike for a ride) So the Tempter was a Suzy ,I saw the S on the sidecover! Wow a good looking bike(I bet I don't come across 1 of those over here) Cheers Dave.
