so many options on exhausts! have any of you guys over the water tried the b.sa. goldstar silencer? i've fitted 1 to my sr500 with the only addition of a d.i.y bracket.these silencers sound wonderful!!! i get many favourable comments from my mates when they are behind me.now heres the bit i cant tell you,as the bike came with a motad exhaust.the bloke who sold me the bike gave me the goldy silencer in with the price but he said it cost roughly £80 sterling.these babies are very well made and look good as well as fitting the standard header pipe, lovely deep sound

Is it a replica of the original BSA silencer, or a used one retro-fitted? I have looked a several old pipes off classic bikes on ebay/swap meets but haven't tried any....still running a modified original on mine
Do you have any photos?
Intersested in what anyone else has done

o.k. milkman, christer has done the job for me,yes it is a replica, sorry i can't tell you where from but i think you should get one of the net or e-bay easily.you might have to put a slight crank in the silencer at the front to line it up,just be careful you dont squash the pipe, slide it over a piece of reasonably fitting bar ina vice and carefully tweak it to suit,i don't think you will regret fitting one of these!
regards,andy
