...ah finger trouble again...here are the specs that I have found for the Supermono...beautiful little bike. This bike had a large bore slipper piston...it'd be nice to have the bike, but a piston would do me just to look at...the engine was loosely based around a V-twin (Ducati now call them L twins just to be different), with the rear cylinder replaced by a reciprocating counter weight that was pivoted in the cases. It revved nice and high for a single because of this. Ducati still mention it as a possible road bike from time to time...wonder if they'll ever do it? Was this bike anything like the Supermoto they clam to be releasing and have had at the bike shows in Europe? It is a wicked looking machine. Thats how they should have styled teh multistrada (I actually passed my first one of these out on the road yesterday.....)
