Hello Read in a other engine tread that member medic09 recomended to keep the oil level rather low. Not close to the upper mark on dipstick. I had the experience that the bike was impossible to start, one time i had topped it up to the upper mark. After draining it to more "normal" level al was fine and starting was easy. Can this be a coinsidence?

Seems strange that oil level would have made much difference. Especially since low to high on the stick seems to only represent a couple of hundred mls of oil. Maybe if you have an oil system that's leaking back into the engine fairly badly, it might make the difference as to whether you get hydraulic lock or something? Doubt it though. Mick

Thanks for your opinions guys, I find it very unlikely my self. But it repulses me to top it up again to double check if problems reocoure. So it was good to hear other's opinins before i did that.
