Or has anyone modded a standard one? I am a fitter/turner by trade and have got access to the gear to do the mod,just need some dimensions for the holes.....

I give in. What's a vernier cam sprocket?
Is it like the cam sprocket I just put on my mates V8 torana that has several sets of key slots and alignment marks so you can have the cam operating as per standard or a couple of degrees advanced or retarded?
