Hows it going all Have any of our australian members used Ivan Tighes cams in the 500??
I know he has been around for a long time and he does several grinds for the 500.
Exchange cam is $140 and they hard weld and regrind to the desired profile. They have a web site and list the specs on the cams there. Thinking i will go for the mid range to top end cam for track work This with a titanium spring kit should do the trick.

I have one of his cam in the cupboard that I am going to use in the engine of one of my TT500. From memory its a 503 grind.
Harry Bell, of Wideline Engineering in Bitten VIC, a well known tuner of 500's, used to use a Tighe cam in a TT500 he built that won the VIC Viper MX series in about 2000 or 2001, so they must be reasonable. I bought my cam on Harry's recommendation in 2002.

I use a Tighe cam 323 grind which is listed as a road cam. I race and find it is mild, but I guess there's a lot of other factors involved in tuning for performance. So far no problems.
