Hi all I'm new to the site. I'm a shop teacher in upstate NY and last year I worked with a handful of at risk and low motivated kids and built a cb/sl350 check out the site niskygarage.logical.netAny way I have 2 project ideas for this coming year and one of them will be built around a Sr motor. I have the wiseco big bore kit and a megacycle cam along with R&D springs, what I'm looking for is what is the best size flat slide to use on this type of set up??any and all info would be very helpful Thanks Also do you all have any suggestions on Ware I can get a good on a Carrillo or = rod. mine is fine but since every thing is going to be new on this setup I figure why not . although I do have to pay for this out of my pocket so price is going to be a big factor but I want the kids to work with cool stuff not polished poop. ;D Well thanks all in advance Talk to you soon Richie D

welcome rich, You're in the right place for those sort of questions (but I'm defenitiely not the right person). Lots posted about carb choices in the fuel section, I'm sure someone here will point you inthe right direction. 36-38mm seem spretty popular.

Dude, those bikes are bad ass! When you do the SR build, please take all kinds of pics, so I can feed off of your creativity. Sorry, but I don't have much in the way of spare parts.

Hi Rich, For the money I'd go for a VMS 38mm Mikuni...easily found and the best bang for buck. I really love the CRS Kei Hin...but they're very expensive compared to the Mic... Got to go, Dr Who is starting... SR
