Well, as I am currently looking for a hydraulic clutch setup to alleviate some wrist pain, I decided to go ahead and tackle the issue of not having a decomp lever perch on my new clutch lever (whenever that comes that is). So I got to thinking and ended up mounting a down-tube shifter from an old 10 speed bicycle directly in front of the decomp on the engine. Looks clean and is very effective. I tried to take some pics but my camera is acting up. I will try to post some pics later. Aaron

I look forward to seeing it...there are also aftermarket decomp lever assemblies that mount in several different places. Good that you are modifying the bike. SR

I was toying with the idea of a decomp lever mounted under the tank somewhere, but now I think I'm going to go for a setup where there's no cable, but a lever mounted directly to the decomp's rocker arm.

That sopunds really good. My blinker console has to be at an annoying angle to allow teh decomp to work effictivly (so much so I rarely use it), so that mod sounds like a good idea.
