Has any one installed the #1102 Oil Line Kit 1 1/2 Volume kit from Thumper stuff? How hard is it to do or should I buy the 1103 duel hi volume for my 1978 SR-500. It is very low mileage (4100). It runs well I just want to keep it that way. Thanks JohnB

I have installed the 1 1/2 oil line kit on my bike. The instructions are straight forward. Mark at Thumperstuff recommended I use this as opposed to the more expensive system.

I've been staring at it without putting it on for six months. But it doesn't look hard at all. The only thing I'm going to be careful about is because the bolt you remove from the head is steel - the new replacement in the kit is aluminum. Be careful you don't strip it. miker

Hi guys, I have the 1103 kit on my motor, its about a 20 minute job to fit. It only costs about 20 bucks more than the 1102 kit, but at the price Mark charges that isnt expensive, and it is really excellent value and quality. I agree with miker about overtightening the aluminium fitting. When i fitted mine up i put teflon thread tape on them and only just nipped them past firm. No leaks or any expected in the future. That teflon tape is a good thing - I used it on my downtube fittings and finally cured the leak there.
