All of the sudden shifting on my '81 SR w/ 16k miles has gotten jerky. The bike jerks the most when shifting from first to second and second to third gear and is barely noticeable when shifting to fourth and fifth. I have adjusted the free play at the clutch lever and adjusted the clutch arm to no avail. Any ideas? Does this sound like the clutch dragging or another problem?

If too loose it can cause the symptoms your describing. Bill
