I've heard it said that later SR400 rocker arms have better oiling and fit straight into the classic 500 mill. Is this correct? If so what P/N's do you need?

Thanks for that. Have you actually fitted these to a classic engine?

Hi Marcus Sorry mate I haven't . I'm in the process of rebuilding my 79 400 motor ,turning it into a 500 ,just a crank swap I have bought new rockers & spindles but there the older type didn't know about the better version at the time I don't think they'll be a problem fitting the newer parts to the classic motor but you might have to use the older type spindles Maybe someone else has better knowledge of the newer type 400 You could try asking either Dues or Vanem I think there importing them into Australia ,a long way form Me ,here in the UK If you need any more P/N's just ask ;D Cheers LURCH
