Hallo Retread, of course, in my answer "rod" must be seen as "stroke", has been changed in the meantime. Have already seen Powroll,crank has been there, came back: balanced, 91mm stroke and a carillo rod. best regards sjef

As soon as I split the cases my crank will be there too! The Carrillo rod is a little pricey for me so I think I will stay with the stocker and have it shrunk. I am not going to be racing so it should stay together.

the con rod length does not affect piston speed ( velocity ) BUT it does affect piston acceleration.
the mean piston speed will be much lower than the peak acceleration on any engine ( unless it has a con rod of infinite length)
