Currently has massive break squeal on my "other" bike from the front disks.
I've pulled the pads, thouroughly hit the calipers and disks with brake clean, and within 20km ors so its, back, and gets louder and louder, I'm making more noise than the bloody Sydney Buses
I'm three cans down now, cleaned tehm a number of times.
So rather than do this every day or week, any ideas? First 2000kms on these new Ferrodo's were no problem. Do i need new pads or is there anything else I can look at?
Its really loud, I keep getting told those sleeping in my house are hearing it when I come and go at all hours

Sounds like incompatability of pad and disc to me...are they metal compound pads? SR

STOP using the brakes. Then you won't have the squeal problem! 2 suggestions maybe 3 ! If there was a thin shim between the pad and caliper throw it away. Spray the bake of the pad with anti squeal, it's a spray=on rubber compound. If that don't stop it. Get the disks machined and buy some new pads. Curly

Yes,the brake squeel stuff works and is powdered ceramic and silicon based stuff, ditch the pads and get Dunlopad brakes as they are the only company that does full sintered pads for the SR caliper, curly is right, pad compound is a culprit as is dust between the pad and piston, not pad to disc. those composite pads are disc f@#$%rs, use only full sintered on stainless rotors. regards, he who can't log in under his own name, cafe racer carl.
