Finally found the bars I want for my bike (chromed flat bars with a good wrist-angle), but trouble is, my bike is at the mechanic's having its engine dismantled (should finally learn what that loud tapping is!) so I can't check if the bars are the right fit. Can anybody tell me the thickness of the stock bars so I can work out if the 7/8" or 22mm thick bars I found match?
While I'm at it, let me add for you Mebournites that I was in Modak's a week ago, and they had two new sets of ace bars for $55 each. Good deal! Great look and handling, but a bit expensive for me - $55 for the bars, and about the same again per week in chiropractic bills! - so I left them there.

7/8" is right.
Yeah, I have clubmans on mine and generally ride only for an hour or so. A couple weeks back I took it on a 5 hour club ride, and my wrists, back, and neck definitely felt it!

I got a hold of some T6 heavy walled aluminium bar and bent my own bars to suit. 6M of bar for $90 gets you a fair few sets of bars, will post a photo over the week end.
