Hey everybody, Anyone know about All Balls wheel bearings? Will they be any better than stockers, or are they crappy? I've got some jiggle in my rear wheel, not in the swingarm, that's an indication that the bearings are out, right? Are they a closed unit, or can you lube them/replace the balls themselves? Do I only need two? I've never dived into my wheels (don't even know where the bearings are) so input's appreciated.
Thanks, Davey

You might want to take it apart for a look first - could be wear in the cush drive too, no?

Cush drive is not bolted into the swingarm directly, but retained on the bearing housing that is cast into the wheel, so cannot contribute to any wobbles. Wobbles could be caused by either the wheel bearings or the bearing housing coming adrift from the wheel which I have experienced!

Good to hear, I still don't really know what a Cush drive is, so I was hoping I wouldn't have to mess with it.
Thanks guys

They are only straight off the shelf bearings & they can be purchased from any bearing supply place , just take them out they should have numbers on them or the bearing suppliers can help you they're probably about 10 bucks each cheers from Dave.

I'm about to do my front wheel bearings also. Any reccomendations on what to pack them with? There's no special tricks with SR I should look out for?

hi the bearing housing on the drive side is a steel casting that the aluminium wheel is cast around.....it has holes in it that take in aly in the casting proces that act like rivets to hold the two parts together..after time the rivet like parts snap off...alowing the two parts to move iv had this problem.....the answer ..if this is your prob is ...to drill tap and countersink holes behind th cush drive into the cast steel and locktite stainles countersunk bolts in hope this helps
