Hi, There are some suspension experts around in Sydney thatmay be able to assist. Take them to one of those places and see if they are able to identify them...they may be able to sort out parts for them. It seems that most shocks are repairable/serviceable these days...even the old Honda CB ones as well. SR

Hi,
Give Gowanloch Engineering / Ducati on Cantebury Rd in Belmore a try. I had two pair of Mazochi (bad spelling) rebuilt by them back in about 2002 and they did a good job at a fiar price.

Are you sure they're Showa shocks? From the description they sound like they could be Koni. Virtually the same shocks are made today by a company called Ikon. Check them out they may be able to supply spares that will suit.

Hi, Initially I was thinking the same thing. Here's a link to the Ikon site in Aus...the 7610 is the type we are referring to...they can be either chrome or black bodied... www.ikonsuspension.com/content/whyikon.htmlSee if the ones you have look like any of these. Usually though, these will have IKON or KONI on the alloy top collar...the older ones can have a steel or alloy body but they don't have adjustable damping... See how you go. SR

After further looking at the shocks that I have I have found they are stamped "showa" on the top black upside down tinplate adjuster plate which as also marked 1 to 4 position and is black painted the body is chrome plated and spring is chrome plated ,there is also a sticker that says adjustable damping . I have ikon' on the bike now but wish to raise the tail up . Thanks T.C.
