nothing that would scare me,as for mileage i would'nt concider it high, it's been enjoyed. i bought a low mileage bike that had not run and years and had to rebuild the top end due to a stuck valve.you never know untill you jump in.let us know how you make out, good luck,Bob

I agree about the mileage. Its only about 1000 miles per year of its life isn't it? This bike has the look of get straight on it and ride. Not very original, not all that pretty, but some good mods done and looks reasonably tidy for the money. $1000US is about $1300 Aus. I don't reckon I could get a complete running bike over here for anywhere near that sort of money. If it was for sale in OZ I'd be bidding on it. Mick

Vic: I just jumped on and had a look. Looks like a good deal to me. I'll say like Mick, if it was in Canada, I'd be bidding on it too! You are the top bidder with 9 min's to go. Good luck buddy, I'm rootin' for 'ya! By the time you read this, I hope she's yours.

$1200 US! Sweet. If its a good runner as described, you are truly laughing all the way to the bank. Talk about land of opportunity. Almost makes me want to emigrate. Almost. Well done! Mick

Hi,
Did that bike belong to someone from here? Those black guards remind me of something from this forum...

I have joined the club! This weekend I pick up the ride. It feels like a blind date. She looked Ok in the pic's, a little rough, but she said she was a runner and that's all any one could hope for. Hope she wasnt lying... Either way we'll get to know each other on a four hour ride home. Should I wear a kidney belt? Or will that insult her?
Thanks for the input guys. Something tells me I'll be learning a thing or two from the community. And in time I guess I'll be able to contribute. Peace and happy riding! Thanks guys!!!

vic ,congrats on your new bike, you should'nt have a need for a belt, she's not a hard tail.i do hope your ride there is'nt a train as a 4 hr ride home is a real test for a "new" bike! but if she makes you there w/no problems you will never doubt her.anyway good luck, i should be semilocal to you so if you need a little assistance let me know.Bob
