Great forum first of all... I've always been drawn to this bike. The simplicity. And I dont feel the desire to go really fast anymore. Just fast enough.
Anyway. I cant stop looking for a bike to buy so it seems pretty inevitable. I am looking (ebay) at one with like 24,000 miles on it and cant help but to think the motor will be in need of a rebuild.
I can go only so far with the work and am just wondering what I could expect to spend on getting an SR500 motor rebuilt. Nothing fancy, just reliable.
Thanks in advance for input... I live in the tristate area.
And once again Great site!
