Now that I look at it, I realize that the handlebar on our SR probably isn't stock.
What's the original width of a stock handlebar? Rise? Colour? (ours is black)
Thanks!

Width is 29" and rise 5 or 6" on the one that was on my 78 - I'm sure it's stock.

Thanks, miker, for the info.
The bars we have on now are about 28" across, with about a 3-3.5" rise (negligable, really). By comparison, my CB750 has bars 32" across and about a 7-7.5" rise.
So, if we restore original or similar bars, that would allow a more upright posture. How might that affect control? I've been fine with the present bars but a) I'm looking for ways to improve and ease the ride for my wife and b) when I ride, I do prefer a fairly upright posture.
Any thoughts, folks?
Pablo, I'm not familiar with Daytona bars. How do they compare to miker's info?
Thanks, all!
