i just received my new progressive springs for my forks. where can i get a tool to take off the fork caps?

Hi, You can buy them from Yamaha for a fairly cheap price..well at least they were years ago. They are a straight section of 17mm (I think) allen key that you use a socket and ratchet on...or a spanner I guess. Be careful putting the caps back in as the thread on them is fairly fine... SR  |

I used an automotive lug nut - off a Miata maybe? It fit the fork cap and I put a wrench on it.
