Hello all,
I just unpacked my SR after a few years living on the road and ran across this site in my search for a few bits to clean up some issues with my bike. Looks like a lot of good information to soak up.
Its a 1979 that my father purchased new.
By now I have re-wound the ignition coils, overbored to 540cc, new cam, lower bars, and dealt with a number of maintenance issues. It still runs fine, and starts on the first kick.
