Hi all - found your forum while trawling the internet for SR400 info - good to see so many people into the bikes, and even some in Sydney like me. So - hi!
I've got 2 bikes - an SV650 racebike, and a Duc SS800. But I'll be selling both and moving to Tokyo in a few months - and will probably be getting a custom SR400 there. I fell in love with the small custom bike scene over there, and reinforced that with a visit or three to Deus here in Sydney. Was shocked at the prices of the Deus bikes (but they are gorgeous) and then the transfer came through - reckon I can do it a bit cheaper in Tokyo...
Normally I'd build my own - have had huge fun building my SV650 racebike from a wreck, and this would be an awesome project. But will be very busy in Japan, and won't have my shed, tools etc - will be quite a change going from Sydney lifestyle to apartment dwelling! So will probably buy one thats been done, or even commission a custom while I'm there.
Anyway, will be browsingyour forum over the next few days and I'm sure I'll have some questions for you all - look forward to chatting with ya
