Hi all - found your forum while trawling the internet for SR400 info - good to see so many people into the bikes, and even some in Sydney like me. So - hi! I've got 2 bikes - an SV650 racebike, and a Duc SS800. But I'll be selling both and moving to Tokyo in a few months - and will probably be getting a custom SR400 there. I fell in love with the small custom bike scene over there, and reinforced that with a visit or three to Deus here in Sydney. Was shocked at the prices of the Deus bikes (but they are gorgeous) and then the transfer came through - reckon I can do it a bit cheaper in Tokyo... Normally I'd build my own - have had huge fun building my SV650 racebike from a wreck, and this would be an awesome project. But will be very busy in Japan, and won't have my shed, tools etc - will be quite a change going from Sydney lifestyle to apartment dwelling! So will probably buy one thats been done, or even commission a custom while I'm there. Anyway, will be browsingyour forum over the next few days and I'm sure I'll have some questions for you all - look forward to chatting with ya TG

Well Hello and Goodbye ! Enjoy the land of the rising sun. Wish I could come with you, have a list a mile long of stuff I can only get there. Any questions just ask there's always someone with an answer, may not be the right one but there's always an answer. Enjoy the forum and keep in touch and let us know how your SR aspirations go in Japan. Stew Ross gave us a taste of the bikes in japan with his recent trip. Looking forward to more!! Curly

Nice taste in bikes mate!
Is the SV a track day bike or do you race the V-twin cup?
