Hi, I'm new here. I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand. When I was 15 I bought a brand new 1978 SR500. My first bike. Here it is...  I later got into Norton Commandos. I now have a Suzuki TL1000s and a Honda VFR400 NC30. By next week I should have a new (to me) SR500. Going back to my roots! Plans are to cafe it out. I will post some pics soon. Cheers. |

Me too I've got a set but the guy painted the lip aswell & I think it looks so much better with gold & the silver lip hmmm yet another great idea from this great site cheers from Dave.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I will most definitely be keeping you all up to date on the new SR. I will try and snap some photos when I close the deal on Tuesday. Here is a shot of my other two machines. I guess you can tell I like green.  |
