And you too Marlon (I assume your the guy I've been emailing with about the swing arms.)
I have an '79 SR500 with all of the neeto upgrades in the engine. I imported a disassebled late 90's SR400 from the Asian market and bought the '79 carcass in the U.S. for the titled frame and longer stroke crank. I got the donor bike for $350 USD and found carillo, Megacycle, venolia and R+D springs with titanium! sorry to bang my own drum but I don't have any SR guys around here to gloat at.
As far as the project goes, I've stripped the frame and repainted it, laced the rims I just finished building the engine and carby (still waiting for the swingarm
) This weekend I'm working on the @#%& electrics. I'll try to show some pics as soon as I can.
But any way, I'm glad to be member.
