Hello , fans of SR 500 my First Street bike , however i have been riding dirt for years , I bought my 1978 restored 500 from the side of the street going home I noticed it and without as much as a test drive I bought the bike as soon as he kicked it over and I heard the ''thumping'' sound coming from out of the new header on the bike . , I just love the handling around street and back roads , the freeways not to bad to , and as for kicking it over it just seems to come naturaly ,the little bit of dirt obviously under my foot helps kick it. will be a nice change of ride , Kredlac, Chilliwack B.C.

Hey Kredlac!
3rd SW Ont welcome! Mine's a red '78. Lots of great advice on here.
Almost enough of us around these parts to meet for coffee somewhere........sounds like our "Aussie" colleagues are more organized in that regard (or have more free time?)!

Heh, heh...comon guys get into it. We have the annual SR Rally in November and now the KVR in March...arrange something over there for around July or August? That'd nicely space out the 'rally' e-mail traffic on here... SR
