Hi. My name is Joacim I am 48 years old and live in the south of Sweden.
I started my SR carrier 1993 when I bought my first bike.
It was a 500-92 with sprocket wheels. After a year or two I started the tuning with a 540cc kit, JE piston, Mikuni, KN, cylinder head machining, Supertrapp etc.
I had the bike for 4 years and then I sold it because I wanted a bigger bike.
Next bike in line was a Muz Scorpion with Yamaha 660 4-valve engine. No good at all....(teh worst bike ever) so I sold it and bought the next bike a Triumph Speed Triple.
I had the triple for one year. I sold it 2003 and have been witout wheels since then....
A month ago I bought an Sr-500/80. My new project !
This time I´m going to build "THE BIKE" and that´s why I´m looking in to this site so I can get information.
The plan is to build a Gold Star replica with nice chassi, great brakes and a little bit wider rims. The engine will be > 590 cc.
I start the journey now and hope that I will have my bike ready to ride next summer.
