Hi There All,
I'm Mart, and I've joined you guys to compliment my membership to the UK Thumper Club. I defected last year from a couple of C*ssack Riders Groups!
I got my paws on an SR500 last November, and since then I've tinkered and fettled and generally been down and dirty with the spanners!

The bike had been languishing in a guy's shed for at least 5 years, but he said he'd part with her cos I wanted to put her back on the road. ;D
She was nearly all complete but it wasn't long before I'd sourced the odd missing panel and such. (Thank you eBay)
She's Taxed and Tested now, but I've still got work to do.
Don't get me wrong, she'll never be concours (That's not my scene.) But I do hope to change her look a bit, and make her tidy.

I got the seat from eB*y and since this pic I've sprayed the side panels to match the seat-pod. (Thank you Halfords for the paint match!) I'm looking to spray the front mudguard and tank soon. She's a rolling project, so I try to paint in between rides! (Don't seem to get much time for painting!! ;D )
I'll look forward to sharing a few threads with you all.
