Hey all, great to see other project junkie bikers on the net!
I'm currently in love with the SR, there was a great one for sale in my town for $1000 but I missed the boat on it. Until I can get my hands on another one, I'm playing with a Yam DT-1 250, with the hopes that I can get it's chassis all sexy and then swap out a 4 stroke engine if I really love it. I'll be starting a thread if you're interested, I could use the help!
I'm a youngsta, my only prior mechanical experience has been with old Vespas and a Honda Ruckus. Robomod had the same scooter and I got introduced to SR's through his bike. Couldn't think about anything else after that. I'm a statesider as well, from SLC, Utah.
Nice to be here, looking forward to gettin' familiar.
