hi all
i don't own a sr yet
at the moment i am riding a buell x1 and a gas gas ec 250
and i am real keen on building a cafe racer out of a sr500/400.
i am from a small town in Australia named Echuca.
so if any one can help me find one at the right price that would be great..

If you are in the US just hit up craigslist everyday. A lot of people have no idea how hard these bikes are to get ahold of so you never know when you are going to find yourself a steal..

Where on the continent are you located?
I am on the east coast of the US, and just have an interest in Australia in general and would love to visit someday if the $$ ever became available to do so.

have you tried the SR 500 club of Australia? Often on their website there are members looking to sell bikes.
they dont update their site all that often and some of those mebers are flotaing around here, but might be another avenue for you. Otherwsie Just Bikes or Motorcycle traders will highlight who imports some sr400's.
