Hey! This is my first bike. I used to tool around on my brothers klr650 and wanted one of those but I am so glad that this little guy showed up on craigslist one day. Its a little rough around the edges but thats kinda my style. Im glad to find what seems like a great resource for these bikes! I will have lots of questions im sure as the months progress. Onto the bike. Its not the prettiest thing ive ever layed my eyes upon but for a first bike I think its about perfect. Is 900 a good price on this guy? The carb has apparently been modded in some way??? Maybe rejetted? I dont know what all people to to these things. Its got a rusty old supertrap exhuast, battery eliminator, k&n filter, different longer swing arm, with a different rear fender I guess. nicely painted tank and side covers, Im sure there is more that I will discover. On the short list of things to do are some turns and maybe a pair of clubman bars( if that is what they are called) Any ways, very excited about it all. Merry christmas from NC
