Hi Guys,
I'm a new guy from Sydney.
I dont own an SR at the moment but looking for one as we speak.
If anyone knows where I can get one in Australia then I am very interested in hearing from you.
I am looking to create a nice cafe racer. Love working on project bikes and need another project

Hi, Welcome to the forum...sounds like a lions versus the gladiators thing doesn't it...  There is currently one for sale for $2,000 in Adelaide...it's on the front of the current MC Trader mag...(0427 841 274)...the ad says that it's an '81 model (that'd be an H model) but it has an E model ('78)tank on it. A mate in Adelaide years ago bought an H from Pitmans but got an E model tank fitted before he bought it. Might be that one...you never know. He sold iot years ago. One to start off with anyway. If it was a black one it was also for sale on bikepoint or bikesales but is now sold. I will have a look and see however. Never know your luck.

Put out 6k now for the one on bike point with the ducati seat already done up. I know that would take the fun ot fo doing the project yuorself, but if I had some spare I'd be heading there. Same bike is on Christers website.
Located in Tasmania, I think some of the people here knew the owner?

It is a very nice bike but really wouldnt mind building it up myself.
Not bad at $5000 though. It started at $6000, then went to $5500 and is now $5000
