Hi, new here. I was told about the site by mildmitch. I am on my third SR500. Bought my first in 1978, "E" model. The second was an '81 "H" model purchased on eBay in 2001. The third and only one I still own is another 1978 "E" from eBay in 2003. This is a work in progress. Complete frame up rebuild. I work for U.S. Suzuki Motor Corp. from 1969 to 1974, and Yamaha International from 1976 to 1977 as a test rider. Found a career with the Palm Springs Fire Department in 1978 and retired in 1997. The SR keeps me sane during those long Winter days when the sun does not shine. Just focus on all the great Summer riding here in the mountains.

Welcome! Wow Mcall Idaho....Your a long way from nothing. Been out that way a few times and you do have some wonderful rides in the area. Started in Joeseph and worked my way across the snake, thru Mcall and down to Boise just last summer. Always wanted to ride from Halfway to Joseph on a bike but have only done it in a truck and a van. Tight, twisty and if I recall right goes to 7,000 ft. Incredible views.
Not much to do except hunt, fish, and build bikes out there. Hang on to your hat the wind storm I just had is headed your way!
