Hey! Been riding bikes for 30 years now, finally got my first 4 wheeler last year, otherwise been exclusively 2 wheeling or bus riding for a long time. My long time ride is an old FL, everyday rider. Awesome! Always had a second bike. Japanese sometimes, now a Tiger I don't enjoy too much. The thumper is an ebay acquisition. I have to rebuild the carb. Why such a complicated unit? By the way, I ripped out all the wiring, the switches, and turn signals, and put in simple pole switches for headlight, overall lighting and ignition. Grinded off all the excess crap, and I am ready to get rid of that carburetor!!!! Any suggestions? I ride 'em like chops, keep 'em running with bubblegum and barb wire, this one's a keeper. Well made!

Welcome aboard! Grab a 36mm Mikuni VM round slide, and a twist throttle from Motion Pro for that thing and it should uncomplicate it immensely. Good to have you here. Gary Hopwheels
