Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andy and I'm a proud owner of a '78 SR500. I just moved to SoCal so if theres anyone on this forum in L.A. or O.C. I'd love to get in touch. My SR is in the process of getting the Cafe treatment, its got the bars and the attitude so far. Next on the list is a larger front sprocket for better top end, and an aftermarket exhaust setup. Eventually I'm planning to install laced wheels, and get an aluminum Norton-style tank and possibly matching seat/tail section (from The Tank Shop in Scotland).
So theres me and my bike. I'm new to SR's, and singles in general, so I might be needing some advice on some of these mods.
Looking forward to meeting other SR folks on here, maybe even do some riding!
