Hi everybody
I hope I'm welcome to this forum ? cos i don't have a 500

just a 400 that I've just rescued for a farmers barn , it hasn't run in years . Hopefully with your help it will live again . I have a ton of questions to ask as this is my first thumper but hopefully not my last ,but to be honest the thought of a large single kicking back scares the hell out of me

I'll post some questions soon

I'm into Yamaha's in a big way having a FJR1300, 2, XJ650's and a XS750se which is the love of my life lately . I have a vast amount of experience with yamaha multies, but as I've said earlier this is the first thumper that i've owned (dont think a old Honda 125 counts ?) the first problem i've got is with the ignition system so i'll post a question in the electrical section ,so please take a look .
