I have read a fair amount about converting from cast to wire wheels and would care for some confirmation please as to the easiest way to go about this. Bike is a 1977 US model with cast wheels and discs both front and rear.
Front
I read an XS650 wire wheel with disc drops straight in - is this right please? Disc on the SR is on LH side of the bike.
Rear
Conversion to wire wheel and brake drum arrangement seems the way forward. I'll need a welded tab on the swingarm for the brake arm. So, which wheel/hub?
Is it easier or required even to purchase another swingarm?
