Hi all, well after reading the forum for quite a while from different corners of the world I finally registered. Its great to see so many people with an interest and appreciation for such a great bike. I have had several years living between Japan and Aus and am now back in Aus (away from SR heaven...!) Yes i miss the bikes in Japan, imagine leaving your home and tripping over SR's on the foot path everywhere you walk....!! I have managed to slowly bring most of my beloved SR back from down town Tokyo in my suitcase as well as several hundred bits and peices.... and will have her turning over again very soon to breath some new air..... My time in Japan saw me go from working in motorsport to exporting Moto parts from some of the better know companies in Japan to people all over the little globe....And building up cool street bikes for Advertisments etc (Thats not a plug for my business...) Anyway I look forward to reading all the great info on the forum and seeing some of the bikes that are out there, and hopfully quench my thirst for cool SRs till I have my bikes back on the road and venture back to Japan later in the year.....
Regards
Adrian...

Hi Adrian, glad you have joined! Sounds like you have been right where the bulk of the SR's are. I would enjoy hearing more! I hope you get yours mobile soon.
Take care and talk to you soon, G Man

Hi G man,
thanks for the welcome, I'd be happy to share a bit of info about the SR scene that i have seen while living in Japan,....I have plenty of pics from SR west shows etc...etc and living in Japan I have become familiar with most of the shops and shop owners dealing with SR's in Japan, so I might be able to suggest good places to get the hard to find parts??? But I am sure most people are fairly switched on where to buy from, although it is hard for most people to get parts out of Japan. We have been involved with SRs for a while now and are acually "the distributor" of DAYTONA parts in Aus for some time, we have been selling parts out to companies all over the globe and Aus for SRs amongst others.... I didn't join the forum to plug our business, just talk SR's, I would rather mention that I sell SR's parts so you know and see I am not here for commercial reason, Just to talk SR's. So anyway, have you guys heard about the movie the Fastest Indian..Starts in Aus in a week or two...(well name is something like that??) I think I read that the bike from the movie is on display at Deus??? Could be worth a look for all the Aus locals...

I think if you have a look at the Deus web site, it gives details of when the bike (bikes) from the movie are there?? May only be on display for a few weeks.... I am quite ignorant to the Historical facts, Maybe i should do some reading??? Maybe after the movie...
