All SR models get some upgrade. What is your favourite?

I voted sprockets, but would have voted suspension too if it had let me! (I'm guessing you only get one vote!!)

Correct, only one vote as your favourite. Sprockets is that to get more top end or off the line acceleration? Can't go past a good seat either.

So many different mods make a complete build, this is hard. I voted seat because getting that old style seat off really changes the bike.

Lads, let's be honest. Doing any of the above mods will automatically lead to doing the rest of the mods on the list. When the above list of mods is completed another list of mods will then needed. And so on and so forth. Which is why we love the SR .

Sprockets was to get away from the crazy low final gearing from the factory. Top speed was 55mph straight out the factory and 3rd was like riding a buzz saw. All sorted with higher gearing! 3rd became star of the show!

Should have worded it differently, someone hands you a SR to keep, what are you changing first on it.

I don't need top end speed as the heritage club rides I go on don't get over 80kph. Some are over 70yr old motorcycles and really struggle for high speeds. So my SR flies off the line and in the corners is amazing.
