Just trailered my new-to-me 78 home... will try to get it running this winter inbetween fooling with my XS650. I had one of these back in the mid-80's, all I remember is it was a bear to start when hot. This one is not in too bad shape but has some challenges: hasn't been run in two years, rear brakes locked, old gas. I already pulled the signals and rack off, might fit some clubmans before getting down to it. Just so it looks good in the corner, ya know! miker

Fresh gas, a jury-rigged battery, and it's alive! Second kick and it settled down to a decent (if loud) idle, no smoking or anything. Even sounds decent.

New battery, got to ride it up and down the underground garage, making mucho noise. Torque! Power! Gears! (Three, anyway... limited space.) Woo-hoo! miker
