I’m about ready for a rear tyre change. Been using Bridgestone Battlax bt45 for ever but although no complaints over grip I find they wear quickly and soon acquire the flat area . Whose using what and why. No problem going with bt45s but generally I’m a good dry weather rider and try to avoid wet roads. Cheers all 👍.

I am using Dunlop D404. Very good mileage on them, getting around 12,000km on a full set front and rear. They look classic, no vibrations in the road. Plenty of grip as well in the corners.

Kenda Challenger at both ends. Great grip and attractive tread pattern if you're into the whole aesthetics thing. As a mainly dry weather rider the amount of rubber on the ground will appeal to you! Fair price too.

Shinko 712's, cheap, 10,000 on rear, 20,000 on front.

Shinko SR428 130/80. Only 18 inch tyre I could find in Swaziland. Some dual purpose capability, had to file head of torque arm bolt on swing arm down to fit. Does the job for my riding. Not expensive, should last a while.

I am running a Dunlop D404 on the rear with good results. I find a Bridgestone Spitfire F11 on the front which came with the bike I think. Close inspection shows some weather checking on the Bridgestone so i believe I will replace it with something, possibly another Dunlop.
