Hi all, Kedo Australia has got a Tork valve insert that fits inside the cylinder head before the exhaust manifold. Seems like a bit of a Torque gain, but can't see how other than narrowing the exhaust gap. Anyone done it?

Hey Pete, I got one a few years back. I did it because my otherwise 'factory standard' SR400 came to me with a stainless single skinned downpipe. Effectively a big bore pipe compared to the twin skinned factory item. I was having some blank spots in the rev range and a lot of popping on the overrun so I realised I needed to replicate the back pressure of the standard downpipe which I did by adding the torque cone. It worked really well, but it wasn't a 'performance upgrade' as such, merely trying to restore normal running to a very standard machine. It worked though!

I thought that was the case. I have a double wall exhaust so won't need it then.

You won't even be able to fit the part to a twin skin downpipe!
