Hi all, looking for a valve head cover for my 84 SR400. it isn't the cylinder head nor is it the valve tappet covers. It is what the valve tappet covers screw into, what sits on top of the cylinder head, what the tacho screws into. There isnt a Yamaha code for it. It had the rockers inside it.
Mine has a crack on the exhaust valve side so letting air out and oil.

+1 on Red's suggestion. I see one now in Michigan listed as a '80 SR500 valve cover rocker arms. My manual from Clymer refers to the part as the "cam cover" . Not sure that the 500 version fits the 400, but maybe?
