Of all the bikes I've had, I miss my SR500 (bought new in '79) the most. I've literally spent years scouring the local classifieds searching for another one at the right price and condition. Last week the search paid off. Found an '80 SR that a fellow's had in his garage for a year. He took it on trade and hadn't been able to get it started in that time. This will be a long term project for me, and I'm sure I'll need plenty of advice and parts along the way.
