Hi all, I first signed up for this forum back in 2007 as "uk500" I got lost in the migration to the new website (about 2010) I had to rejoin but managed to keep my old username. I tried signing in here and I've been dropped again and have had to re-register and change my name to johnuk. I'm glad the site is still going, I have had my SR for 16 years (it's like a marriage). I hope this site booms again as it is a goldmine of information. All the best to all of you and happy riding, John.

Dusting off this original forum seemed my best option, even though I have been catching flack for it... We should be ok here moving forward for a good long while. Talk soon, G Man

Hi John, I was on the VBulletin version of the board from 2014 until it went offline. Like you say, it's a kind of marriage, having an SR. Keeping any kind of older bike on the roads these days in the UK is a challenge and one made easier for sure, with help / advice from board members.
