The SR is still in the barn snowed in but I started it yesterday. I've meant to post this project I bought a few years ago from an estate of a biks shop owner. It had been stripped down to a rolling chasis long ago and the motor frozen, the center stand had been ripped off, probably in an accident, and the tires rotted. moss growing between the cooling fins, and my only intention was to put parts on it for an ornament. But winters drag on here and one thing leads to another. I'm hoping to ride it in a DGR ride but have missed the last few. Really the brakes are niminal and the suspension questionable but the engine has a nice exhaust tone with the peashooters. My brother wants to paint it for me, but I sort of like the look.

Something about this machine, the shape, the colour, that front mudguard, says WW2 German military. Handsome as is if you ask me!

Thanks Guys! I go back and forth on the looks, but it spoke to me when i tried to ignore it in the local Penny Ads and I finally couldn't bear to not answer the ad. Every time i go to the garage in the dark and flip on the lights, it does kinda look low down and ready for something! It has a mount for a bicycle pump under the seat, I'd have to grind some clearance in the homemade seat spring holder to mount it. That would probably add to the military look
