I bought a '77 TT500 from an old friend and the bike would smoke bad upon startup and even foul plugs if the engine was lugged. I looked online on this forum and it seems that the oil check valve is a common cause of wet sumping on these bikes. I opened the clutch cover only to see the oil check valve in two pieces. Where can I purchase an oil check valve for this bike? It's not listed as a part in the manual. Would I have to buy a whole new clutch cover? Thanks.
